A Sherlock Gnomes Paint Party

We had such a great time hosting a Sherlock Gnomes themed Paint Party this past Sunday. Everything from the location, the decor, the guests, the treats, and activities was so much fun to plan!

Sherlock Gnomes is out in theatres on March 23rd so we gathered 10 awesome Los Angeles mommy bloggers from our network to help us promote the release of this animated film.

L.A Mamacitas is all about supporting fellow mama owned businesses so we didn't look far for the perfect location. Dream Big Children's Center in Monrovia is one of our preferred vendors and the perfect setting and venue to host a kid-friendly event. They took care of the amazing decor and the set-up for our Sherlock Gnomes paint stations.

It was really important to us that the kids had fun and that they were able to enjoy their Sunday! We really enjoyed seeing them make new friends and get messy with the gnome painting activity.

Our Sherlock Gnomes paint party was held at 3PM so we served light treats to match the theme. Piece of Cake by Angie who is also a mom-owned business by another of our preferred vendors sponsored delicious cupcakes that matched the red and white decor. Fresh strawberries and creme, creme puffs and trail mix and juice boxes were also enjoyed by our guests.

We love to end all of our parties with a swag bag. Having recycled paper bags on hand is always a must because we can make them our own to match the theme. For this Sherlock Gnomes paint party, we used gnome inspired hats provided by Paramount Studios to add a fun twist to the bags. What was inside you ask? Sherlock Gnomes promotional materials including books, t-shirts, sunglasses, garden seeds, bookmarks, and more!

We hope you enjoyed this recap and that you may find some cool ideas for your next event. If you are a Los Angeles based, Latina Mommy Blogger, get in contact with us to join our network. We would love to have you at our next event!
