Querida Yo Part Two: Growth, Connection & Vision A Dinner Experience

Last year, we hosted Querida Yo—and it was such a success that we have turned into a three-part series. Part two took place on Friday, March 13th in San Diego. It was a beautiful dinner experience created for Latinas ready to reclaim their place, speak with clarity, and write their vision with intention. This next chapter of Querida Yo was about healing the version of ourselves who learned to stay silent, who dimmed her passion, and who forgot the power of her own voice.

As the vision expanded, we knew there was only one person we trusted to help us bring Part Two to life:

Pam Covarrubias. Pam is a Coach, Speaker, Podcaster and Healer

The night unfolded with a beautifully curated dinner crafted by Chef Clarisse Jereza, whose signature style centers on intentional, nourishing meals that bring people together. We wanted the dinner to feel like family, and she delivered exactly that. Latina leaders gathered around family‑style tables, passing bowls of fresh salad, sharing vibrant dishes, and enjoying a delicious gluten‑ and dairy‑free dessert that proved nutritious can absolutely be delicious.

Chef Clarisse not only understood our vision—she elevated it. Her thoughtful approach, creativity, and collaboration made the meal an unforgettable part of the Querida Yo experience..

What made the night even more magical was knowing that this dinner, something neither of us had ever hosted before; came to life through a lot of learning, trial, error, and the incredible support of our sponsors and activations.

Our guests were welcomed with handcrafted mocktails proviced by Tadin Teas, infused with delicious guava rose for signature drinks Volviendo A Mi and La Protagonista. One guest was moved to tears by the alcohol-free intention, and many couldn’t believe they felt a float with beautiful and nourishing ingredients.

BMO and Elavon sponsored our Reflection Mirror installation, a powerful reminder to help every woman see her strength each time she caught her own reflection. Five financial experts were present ready to offer advice and give the attendees more information about their respective services.

Our guests explored their Human Design with Ilona Pamplona—COACH | AUTHOR | STRATEGIST—who guides leaders, creatives, and entrepreneurs in bridging who they are to who they get to be.

We were also joined by Patricia Casanova DRE 01963954, our resident Real Estate Agent, who hosted a book activation rooted in her belief that knowledge transforms lives.

Joan from CogniStrength shared her mission to shift the paradigm of healthy aging through cognitive wellness, offering natural aromatherapy candles crafted to ease stress, boost focus, and support emotional balance.

And of course, our Latina leaders stepped fully into their empowered selves during their personal “baddie session” with Becky the Baddie Coach, who showed them how to embody confidence and presence in front of the camera.

Everywhere you looked that night, there was a reminder of your power. Whether it was through an installation or an activation, each detail was intentionally designed to bring you back to the strength within you. The theme of the evening was simple yet profound:

to remind you of the power already living inside you—your voice, your story, your vision.

Guests were also treated to an adorable canvas tote bag filled with thoughtful goodies from our event partners and goody bag sponsors.

Because exploring your voice and practicing self‑care doesn’t end when the event does—it continues long after you leave the room.

We absolutely loved curating this event alongside Pam. She closed the night with her signature walk exercise, inviting each guest to step onto the red carpet, dance, celebrate herself, and embody the woman she is becoming. That energy is exactly what we want to carry into Querida Yo: Part Three, the final installation of this series, taking place in late Summer or early Fall 2026. This finale will be a celebration of all the work our community has done—whether they attended one event, both, or have been growing on their own.

A special thank‑you to Pam Covarrubias for her collaboration. This event would not have come to life without her extensive experience and trust in Las Mamacitas!

You can learn more about her work here.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the experience. It truly took a village!
